Pursuant to Sections 17C-2-108, 17C-2-109, and 17C-2-110 of Utah Code Ann., The Roy City Council (the “City Council”) is providing this notice with respect to Ordinance 24-3 which was passed by the City Council on February 20, 2024, adopting an amendment to the City Center Redevelopment Project Area Plan (the “Official Amended Plan”), which removed four parcels from the City Center Project Area, as approved by the Roy City Redevelopment Agency (the “Agency”) on February 20, 2024, and directing that notice of adoption of the Official Amended Plan be given as required by law. Ordinance 24-3 and the Official Amended Plan shall become effective upon posting of this notice, at which time the Agency may proceed to implement the Official Amended Plan. The Official Amended Plan Amendment is available for public inspection at Roy City Hall at 5051 S 1900 W, Roy, Utah during regular office hours, Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

For a period of 30 days after the effective date of the Official Amended Plan, any person in interest may contest the Official Amended Plan or the procedure used to adopt it if the Official Amended Plan or procedure fails to comply with applicable statutory requirements. After the expiration of that 30-day period, no person may contest the Official Amended Plan of the procedure used to adopt it for any cause.
