    Roy City Arts Council Mission Statement:
    "Enhancing the Quality & Awareness of the Arts in Roy "

    The Roy City Arts Council is responsible for several annual events that assist in cultivating an appreciation for the arts in our residents and members of the surrounding city's. 

    Here is a sample of what is to come. 

    Spring 2024:
     - Poetry Contest: This themed contest is typically held in March for our Junior High students. We thoroughly enjoy reading each entry and are enamored with the talent of our youth. Link to the Poetry Contest Facebook Event found here.

    Summer 2024:
     - Concert in the Park Series: 5 concerts are planned for Summer 2024 and are sure to entertain you. Join us with your blankets and chairs in the outdoor amphitheater at the Roy Southwest Library at 7:00 p.m. on June 6th, June 20th, July 11th, July 25th, and August 8th.     Concerts in the Park 2024
    - Roy Days Art Show: This years theme is "Color my World". Art Show registration is June 1st through the 15th with entry receiving being on July 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Weber County Southwest Library. Judging will take place on July 20th and entries will be displayed from July 20th until August 3rd, pickup being August 5th. There are several age groups and entry categories. entry fees are $5.00 for youth and $10.00 for adults.

    Fall 2024:
     - Gingerbread House Contest: This contest has several age groups and is truly fun for all! The Gingerbread House Contest is held in conjunction with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, typically the Monday before Thanksgiving.
