    Application Process
    The City accepts applications for current openings only. In order to apply for a position, applicants must submit a completed Roy City application and any additional documentation described in the announcement.

    Hiring Process
    Once the position closes, the Human Resources Coordinator submits the applications to the hiring department. There applications will be screened for minimum qualifications and ranked based on experience and skills.

    The hiring department will schedule and conduct interviews of the most qualified candidates. The number of individuals selected for interviews will vary depending on the number of qualified applicants.

    Additional screening and testing may be done any time during the hiring process.

    The successful candidate will be extended a job offer contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation. The extent of the background check will depend on the position.
