Good Landlord Program
The Roy City Good Landlord Program is a partnership between Roy City, the owners of rental dwelling units in Roy City, and the Utah Apartment Association.
Landlords will receive information with their Roy City Business License Renewal.
Summertime in the City

Maintaining the quality of life for the community and visitors of Roy City is one of Code Enforcement’s main goals.  As summertime is a time to enjoy the outdoors, have barbeques, and golf, we would like to address some of the prevalent nuisances that can be avoided during this time of year, ensuring a pleasant Summer for all in the community:

  • All grass and weeds must be kept to a height of 6 inches, or less, on all properties 4-3-3(A)
  • Vehicles must be parked on approved surfaces (concrete, cement driveway or garage areas) and never on grass or landscape 10-10-32
  • Garbage cans must be placed not before 7:00 p.m. the day before collection and removed by 7:00 p.m. the day of collection 4-2-2 (c)(D)
  • All vehicles on private property must be in operable condition and have a registration which is no more than 4 months past the valid licensing period 4-3-1
  • Carports, driveways, front and back yards should be clear of junk, vehicle parts, and debris 4-3-3 (C)
