S.R. 108 PROJECT UPDATE

PRE-CONSTRUCTION OPEN HOUSE
Tuesday, June 9 • 4:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Syracuse Elementary School, 1503 S. 2000 W.

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) invites the public to attend an informational open house to learn details about the S.R. 108 three-lane construction project.

The public is welcome to attend any time between 4:30 and 7:00 p.m. Project staff will be available to discuss schedules, traffic impacts, right-of-way and funding status, and to answer questions about the project. Stakeholders requiring special accommodations at the meeting are asked to call in advance.

UDOT plans to widen or re-stripe S.R. 108* where needed to provide a three-lane roadway (one traveling lane in each direction with a center turn lane) between Antelope Drive (1700 South) in Syracuse and 1900 West in West Haven. This will provide immediate congestion relief and improve safety along the entire corridor. Construction is planned for summer 2009. For more information, visit the project Web site at www.udot.utah.gov/sr108construction.

*S.R. 108 is also known as 2000 W. in Davis County, and Midland Drive or 3500 W. in Weber County.
