Spring is Just Around the Corner

Vacant lots, yards, sidewalks and alleys overgrown with tall weeds are not only unsightly, but can harbor rodents and insects, and can become a fire hazard. Per Roy City Ordinance 4-3-1 – weeds or grasses must be kept under 6” in height.  This ordinance applies to all zones within the City.  All vacant lots must also comply.

If you are concerned about an area or property that is not being maintained or have questions regarding enforcement of the ordinance, please call Code Enforcement at 801.774.1005.
