Notice of Adoption of Ordinance 22-12 By the Roy City Council

 Pursuant to Sections 17C-5-109, 17C-5-110, and 17C-5-112 of Utah Code Ann., The Roy City Council (the “City Council”) is providing this notice with respect to Ordinance 22-12 which was passed by the City Council on September 20, 2022, adopting the official Amended 1900 Southeast Community Reinvestment Project Area Plan (the “Official Amended Plan”), as approved by the Roy City Redevelopment Agency (the “Agency”) on June 28, 2022, and directing that notice of adoption of the Official Amended Plan be given as required by law. Ordinance 22-12 and the Official Amended Plan shall become effective upon posting of this notice, at which time the Agency may proceed to implement the Official Amended Plan. The Official Amended Plan is available for public inspection at Roy City Hall at 5051 S 1900 W, Roy, Utah during regular office hours, Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

For a period of 30 days after the effective date of the Official Amended Plan, any person in interest may contest the Official Amended Plan or the procedure used to adopt it if the Official Amended Plan or procedure fails to comply with applicable statutory requirements. After the expiration of that 30-day period, no person may contest the Official Amended Plan of the procedure used to adopt it for any cause.
