Notice is hereby given that Roy City will be accepting applications for individuals wanting to be considered to fill the City Council interim vacancy. This will fill an unexpired term that ends
December 31, 2019.

The position will be placed on the ballot for a four-year term in the 2019 Municipal General Election. Qualifications for consideration are; be a United States Citizen, be a registered voter of
the municipality and be a resident of the municipality for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date for the appointment.

Applications and resumes must be submitted in person at the office of the City Recorder during regular office hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) not later than 5:00 p.m. on January 11, 2018. Applications will then be considered by the City Council during the regular meeting to be held on January 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Roy City Council Chambers, 5051 South 1900 West; Roy, Utah.
