It has 12.29 acres and comprised of the following facilities; restrooms, baseball diamond, softball field, football field, bowery, playground, parking facilities, running water fall and creek bed. Itis an excellent location for family photos.
Sand Ridge is the home playing field for Roy High boy and girls soccer and softball. As well as Sand Ridge Jr. High softball, baseball and football.
This park is property of Weber County School District. Their playing fields are available for public use once school has been dismissed for the summer and only until school begins the following fall.
The Roy city annual Easter Egg hunt is also held at this beautiful park.
Roy City currently has five parks with covered Bowery which may be reserved for private use by individuals, business groups, and organizations:
Reservations must be made in person; to reserve a Bowery, come in to the Finance Department at the City Administration Building located at 5051 South 1900 West.
Payment is required at the time the reservation is made.
Bowery reservations beginning January 2nd of each year and go until October 31. Restroom facilities are not unlocked or open until April. The boweries are open from 8am-9pm each day.
