The
Neighborhood Dumpster Clean Up Program
for 2010 season begins April 5th –
October 29th. The dumpsters may be scheduled
once a year per household for neighborhood
clean up projects at no charge. We have
received an overwhelmingly positive response
from citizens on this program. We appreciate
your efforts to clean up our city. Roy
City now owns six dumpsters which will
be out in the community and two which
will be available for citizens to utilize
at Public Works facility as outlined below.
Currently,
dumpsters may be scheduled one month in
advance. For example, beginning March
1st, dumpsters can be scheduled for the
month of April. Beginning April 1st, dumpsters
may be scheduled for the month of May,
etc.
To schedule
a dumpster for your area, you will need
to go to the Public Works Building located
at 5460 South 2700 West, Monday - Friday
7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., and sign an agreement.
We will need to see a current Utah driver's
license. It's that simple! We recognize
the hours we are open may cause some inconvenience
but we are attempting to provide all citizens
with the same opportunity to schedule
a dumpster. (See "Rules for Dumpsters
in Residential Areas" below.)
