Roy City has a number of parks available for outdoor activities. Amenities include walking tracks, tennis courts, basketball courts, ball diamonds, soccer fields, volleyball courts, and playgrounds. West Park, is home to one of the newer skateboard parks in the area.

Roy City currently has four parks with covered boweries which may be reserved for private use by individuals, business groups, and organizations. Reservations must be made in person. To reserve a bowery, come in to the Finance Department at the City Administration Building located at 5051 South 1900 West. Payment is required at the time the reservation is made. Boweries are available for reservation beginning January 2nd of each year.
